We at Old Paths Christian Church emhasize a theology with passion (Experiential Theology)... We desire to be a people devoted to the Scriptures and committed to living for the glory of God. Rather than emphasizing church growth, or a seeker sensitive gospel, we desire to strike at something more biblical and historical.

At the Old Paths Christian Church (OPCC) the Word of Almighty God takes precedence. Above all else we believe in the supremacy of rightly dividing the Word of truth through exegetical proclamation. In an age of uncertainty, skepticism, and easy-believism, OPCC is committed to displaying the glory of God through the Word of God being preached and applied. We strongly believe that the pulpit is "the throne of the Word of God." It is not a place for comedy, drama, story-telling, conversation, or the displaying of human talents or abilities but the bold, authoritative proclamation of "Thus saith the LORD!"

In addition to this, what may make OPCC so unique is its equal emphasis upon heartfelt, God-centered worship and praise. We at OPCC have seen far too many churches and movements settle for all head and no heart or all heart and no head. We desire to cultivate a more reverent and awe aspiring worship atmosphere. God has given OPCC a vision for a God enthralled worship that is soaked in biblical truth and saturated with glorifying God through biblical God-centered worship. We worship God through the use of historic hymns and contemporary songs that have biblical and theological content.

Finally, we desire to take all of our vision for preaching, theology, and worship and apply it to practical outreach. We see the world as lost and confused. Many who attend churches all around our local area are being brought up by weak and faulty presentations of biblical Christianity. As a result, false conversions are common place, giving way to mass confusion and major misunderstandings of the true nature of the faith. Therefore, much of our outreach is aimed at the lost but also at the misinformed. We desire to teach people the way more accurately that they might come to truly know Christ as Lord and Savior.

Church Membership

If you wish to become a member of our church, please ask one of our elders/ushers for an application. Please fill and submit the application to the church office. For more information, call church office @ 872-9408.

· Scripture Alone:The inerrant Scripture is the sole source of written divine revelation, which alone can bind the conscience.

· Christ Alone: Our salvation is accomplished by the mediatorial work of the historical Christ alone.

· Faith Alone: The knowledge of Scripture alone and the believing of and commitment to such knowledge shows forth that Christ alone is the object of saving faith through which we are justified by His atonement for our sins.

· To God Alone Be the Glory: Because salvation is of God and has been accomplished by God, it is for God’s glory. Therefore, we must glorify Him always.

· Grace Alone: In salvation we are rescued from God’s wrath by His grace alone. Salvation is of His unmerited love and not of man’s work.
